Water Inlet Valve Assembly (Cold)

This assembly contains the solenoids that control water flow into the dispenser. On Samsung front loaders, the cold water solenoid is the most active and prone to electrical failure (open circuit) or mechanical seizing, preventing water from entering the tub and eventually triggering a 4C error code.

Water Level Pressure Sensor

If this sensor fails or the associated pressure tube is blocked, the control board may receive a false signal that the tub is already full of water. This prevents the board from sending voltage to the inlet valves, resulting in a 'won't fill' condition without a traditional 4C error (often showing 1C instead).

Water Inlet Valve (Hot)

Used primarily during hot or warm wash cycles. If the user is specifically trying to start a cycle requiring hot water and the solenoid has failed, the machine will stall at the start of the fill sequence.
