Door Lock Switch Assembly

This assembly contains the solenoid and sensing switch that signals the PCB that the door is safely secured. Over time, the internal contacts corrode or the locking solenoid fails, preventing the cycle from starting and triggering the 'Door Locked' error. Replacing this component restores the electrical feedback loop required for the washer to initiate high-speed spin and wash functions.

Door Striker

The striker is the plastic 'hook' on the door that physically engages the lock assembly. If this part is cracked, misaligned, or worn down, it will not fully actuate the mechanical switch inside the lock assembly even if the door is closed. This results in the system failing to register a 'locked' state, leading to the error code.

Main Control Board

The main PCB contains the triacs and relays that send voltage to the door lock solenoid. If the door lock and striker are physically intact but the error persists, the control board may have a failed circuit that is unable to send the locking signal or process the return signal from the latch. This is considered the final resolution step if the latch replacement does not clear the error.
