Drain Pump Assembly

The drain pump on this model is a high-frequency moving part mounted at the base. Over time, the plastic housing can develop stress cracks from vibration, or the internal shaft seal fails, allowing water to weep directly onto the floor during and after the drain cycle.

Tub-to-Pump Hose (Bellows)

This corrugated rubber hose connects the outer tub to the drain pump. It is susceptible to punctures from foreign objects (like coins or bra wires) that bypass the wash basket, or it may leak if the constant-tension clamps lose integrity due to corrosion.

Water Inlet Valve

While located at the top rear, a slow leak from the internal solenoids or the vacuum breaker often causes water to travel down the outer surface of the tub. This water pools at the bottom of the cabinet and exits via the base, mimicking a bottom-up leak.
