Drain Pump Motor

This synchronous motor drives the impeller to evacuate water. Over time, the internal seals can fail, allowing water into the motor windings, or debris can shear the impeller from the shaft. Replacing the pump is the standard resolution for F8E2 error codes when no external blockages are found.

Dishwasher Drain Hose

The drain hose on this model includes a specific 'high loop' requirement and an internal check valve. Drain Check Valve

This rubber flapper prevents dirty water from flowing back into the dishwasher after the drain cycle finishes.
