Dishwasher Door Latch
The dishwasher flashes all cycle and option lights when it detects the door is open during a run. A mechanically failed latch or a faulty internal microswitch fails to provide the 'closed' continuity signal to the control board, causing the unit to suspend the cycle and flash the LEDs indefinitely.

Main Electronic Control Board
The control board serves as the central logic unit. If the board's EEPROM or internal relays fail, it may enter a constant reset state or incorrectly interpret sensor signals, resulting in a blinking console that cannot be cleared by a power reset.

User Interface (UI) Console
On this specific model range, steam can migrate into the console assembly, causing short circuits on the capacitive touch buttons or ribbon cable. This 'ghost' input or shorting causes the display lights to flicker or flash as if buttons are being rapidly pressed.
