Speed-Feed 400 Trimmer Head

The SRM-225 is factory-equipped with a Speed-Feed head which utilizes an internal cam-and-carrier system to advance line. Over time, dirt ingress and friction wear down the plastic indexing tabs and eyelets, causing the mechanism to bind. Replacing the entire assembly is the most reliable fix for a 'won't feed' symptom as it eliminates mechanical wear and potential assembly errors with the internal disk.

Inner Disk Carrier (Spinner)
