Water Inlet Valve Assembly

This valve contains the solenoids that electronically open the water ports. In the WTW8127 series, these solenoids are prone to electrical failure or mineral build-up in the internal mesh filters, preventing water from entering regardless of control board commands.

Lid Lock Assembly

Modern Whirlpool HE washers require a successful lid lock 'strike' and 'lock' confirmation before the control board initiates the high-volume fill. If the lock motor fails to engage, the logic loop for filling will never initiate.

Pressure Transducer Hose

If this clear plastic tube is pinched or clogged with detergent sediment, the air pressure cannot reach the control board's sensor. This can lead the machine to believe it is already full of water, preventing the inlet valve from opening.
