Drain Pump Assembly

This synchronous motor is responsible for the physical evacuation of water from the tub. It frequently fails due to internal electrical shorts or mechanical damage to the impeller caused by foreign objects (coins, bra wires). Replacing the complete assembly ensures that the motor and the housing seal are restored.

Lid Latch Assembly

The WTW8127 series requires a confirmed 'Locked' signal from the lid latch to proceed with high-speed drain and spin cycles. If the solenoid or the internal microswitch fails, the control board will abort the drain sequence for safety, leaving the tub full of water.

Water Level Pressure Sensor

This sensor communicates the current water level to the main control board via a pressure tube. If the sensor fails or the tube becomes clogged with sediment/biofilm, the machine may incorrectly 'think' it is empty or fail to trigger the drain pump logic during the cycle transition.
