Washer Drain Pump

The drain pump housing on this series is prone to stress cracks or internal seal failure. When the seal fails, water exits the pump motor shaft and drips directly onto the floor. This is the most common cause for a significant puddle under the machine during or after the drain cycle.

Tub Seal and Drive Hub Kit

If water is dripping specifically from the center of the machine near the motor, the tub seal has likely perished. This allows water to travel down the drive shaft, often damaging the bearings over time. Replacing the hub and seal kit restores the watertight integrity of the tub floor.

Water Inlet Diverter Valve

The WTW8127 uses a complex diverter system for its Load & Go and dispenser features. Research suggests that the tension clamps on the hoses connected to this valve can weaken, or the plastic valve body can develop hairline fractures. This causes water to leak over the top of the outer tub and pool at the bottom.
