The most common source of an abnormal high-pitched whistle is the degradation of the high-speed ceramic or steel bearings supporting the compressor shaft. As the bearing races develop micro-pitting, the shaft vibrates at ultrasonic frequencies that manifest as a whistle under high RPM. This kit replaces the rotating assembly to restore concentricity and balance.

Supercharger Drive Gear Clutch Kit

The supercharger is driven by a friction-clutch gear assembly designed to slip during sudden deceleration to protect the engine. If the clutch washers are glazed or worn, they may slip prematurely during acceleration, creating a high-frequency friction whistle or 'screech' as the drive gear fails to maintain a 1:1 ratio with the engine timing gear.

Blow-Off Valve (BOV) Upgrade/Repair Kit

A whistle can be purely aerodynamic; if the BOV diaphragm has a pinhole leak or the seal is failing, pressurized air (boost) will escape through the valve bypass during sustained throttle. This creates a reed-effect whistle as air is forced through the compromised seal at high velocity.
