Drain Pump Assembly

The internal impeller seal or the plastic housing of the pump often fails due to constant vibration and debris impact. When this occurs, water weeps from the pump motor shaft or cracks in the casing during the drain and spin cycles, resulting in a pool directly under the center-right of the washer. This assembly is the standard replacement to resolve drainage-related floor leaks.

Water Inlet Valve Assembly

Over time, the plastic manifold or the internal diaphragms of the inlet valve can crack or fail to seat properly due to water hammer or mineral buildup. Water seeping from this valve will travel down the exterior of the rear cabinet or the outer tub, eventually pooling at the bottom of the machine even when it is not in use.

Tub-to-Pump Drain Hose

This corrugated rubber bellows connects the bottom of the outer tub to the drain pump. It is susceptible to punctures from sharp foreign objects (like coins or hairpins) that slip through the inner basket, or it may develop cracks in the bellows' folds due to the 'walking' motion of the tub during unbalanced loads.
