Water Filter Head and Case Assembly

The manifold housing often develops hairline cracks or the internal bypass valves fail to seal correctly against the filter O-rings. This causes a constant slow drip that accumulates in the refrigerator floor or leaks down the back wall. Replacing the entire head assembly is the standard forensic fix to ensure a pressure-tight seal.

Water Inlet Valve Assembly

This triple-solenoid valve controls water flow to the dispenser and ice makers; over time, the plastic housing can crack under line pressure or the solenoids fail to close fully. This results in water weeping from the rear of the unit or overfilling the ice maker, leading to splash-over leaks.
