Brew Group Maintenance & Seal Kit
This kit contains the EPDM O-rings and food-grade silicone lubricant needed to restore the piston's range of motion. Error 8 is most frequently caused by 'drag' or mechanical resistance from swollen seals that prevent the brew group from reaching the home or brew position, causing a timeout in the control board's logic.

Brew Group Encoder
The encoder is responsible for translating the gear motor's rotation into digital pulses for the CPU. If the mounting tabs are fractured or the optical/magnetic sensor is fouled, the machine cannot verify the brew group's position even if it is physically moving, resulting in an immediate Error 8 shut-down.
