Drip Tray Contact Plates
The Jura S8 uses stainless steel contact strips at the rear of the drip tray to complete a low-voltage circuit to the logic board. Over time, coffee residue and minerals create a conductive path between these plates, causing the machine to perceive the grounds container as full or improperly seated. Replacing the fouled or oxidized contacts restores the electrical isolation needed to clear the error message.
