Omni Station Mainboard (PCBA)

The station mainboard contains the power-switching electronics, typically a relay or TRIAC, that governs the high-wattage heating circuit. A failure of this component prevents the system from energizing the heating element despite logic commands from the app. This is a common failure point in smart stations where the relay contacts can pit or fail over time.

Internal Heating Element Module

This module contains the resistive heating element and the safety thermal fuse. Mineral deposits from hard water can insulate the element, leading to thermal stress and an eventual open-circuit failure of the resistive coil or the tripping of the internal thermal fuse, which permanently breaks the circuit to prevent fire hazards.

NTC Temperature Sensor

The NTC thermistor provides temperature feedback to the station's processor. If the sensor fails or shifts in resistance, the control board may incorrectly determine that the water is already at the target temperature or detect an error state that prevents the heating cycle from initiating as a safety precaution.
