Sump Gasket Repair Kit

This kit provides a silicone seal designed to be pulled into the gap between the stainless steel tub and the plastic sump housing. Over time, the original factory seal can lose compression or be compromised by food particles, allowing water to weep into the base pan. This specific repair kit is the primary engineering fix to prevent moisture from triggering the E15 float switch.

Drain Pump Seal

The interface between the drain pump motor and the sump housing is a common site for kinetic seal failure. If the O-ring or mechanical seal within the pump fails, water will drip directly into the base pan during the drain cycle, buoying the float switch and triggering the E15 protection mode.

Water Inlet Valve

If the internal diaphragm of the water inlet valve develops a hairline fracture or fails to seat properly, it can leak water internally into the base of the unit even when the machine is not running. This results in the E15 error code appearing intermittently or immediately upon the machine being powered on.
