Drain Pump

The drain pump is the primary mechanical mover for waste water. On Bosch 300 series, debris often bypasses the triple filter and jams the impeller; if the pump cannot clear the obstruction, the motor windings eventually fail or the impeller snaps. Replacing the pump restores the electrical and mechanical ability to evacuate water.

Fine Filter / Filter Basket

Bosch dishwashers rely on a high-surface-area microfilter to prevent debris from entering the sump. Over time, grease and calcium buildup can create a 'biofilm' that water cannot penetrate, causing the unit to fail to drain despite a functional pump. A new filter ensures optimal flow and prevents downstream clogs in the pump impeller.

Drain Hose

The drain hose on Bosch units includes a specific check valve or anti-siphon geometry. If the internal check valve is stuck shut or if the hose is kinked behind the unit during installation or shifting, the pump will not have enough head pressure to move water out. This hose assembly replaces both the path and the backflow prevention mechanism.
