Blink Sync Module 2

The Sync Module 2 acts as the local hub using Low Frequency Radio (LFR) to 'wake' the doorbell for communication. If the module's internal LFR transceiver or firmware is corrupted, it cannot send the initial handshake signal to the doorbell, preventing the device from ever appearing on the network even if the doorbell's own Wi-Fi chip is functional.

Blink Video Doorbell (Unit Replacement)

Internal hardware failure of the doorbell's integrated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi antenna or the SoC (System on a Chip) will prevent synchronization. Because these units are environmentally sealed (potted) to provide weather resistance, individual component repair on the PCB is not feasible, requiring a full chassis replacement if the internal radio hardware fails to initialize.
