Encore ESP Ring Burr and Holder
The ring burr holder contains sacrificial plastic tabs designed to undergo brittle fracture when torque limits are exceeded, acting as a mechanical fuse for the motor. When these tabs snap, the ring burr can no longer be held in a fixed position relative to the rotating cone burr, rendering the adjustment system 'broken'. Replacing the entire holder/burr assembly restores the structural integrity of the grinding chamber.
