Zwift Cog Replacement Kit / Freehub Body
The Zwift Hub One uses a specific freehub body (Shimano HG compatible) where the internal pawls frequently fracture or experience spring failure under high wattage. This results in a clicking or clunking sound during the drive stroke as the ratchet engagement becomes asymmetrical. Replacing the combined Cog and freehub assembly ensures the internal drive mechanism is restored to factory tolerances.

JetBlack Volt V2 Freehub Body
The Zwift Hub is a rebadged JetBlack Volt chassis and utilizes the same pawl-and-ratchet architecture. In cases where the Zwift-branded Cog kit is unavailable, the JetBlack-specific freehub body serves as the direct mechanical equivalent. This part replaces the housing and engagement pawls that are the primary source of abnormal acoustic feedback.

Cassette Lockring / Hub Nut
Vibrational forces during high-intensity sessions can lead to the loosening of the lockring that secures the Cog to the freehub body. This creates lateral play, allowing the Cog to rattle against the HG splines, which is often misinterpreted as an internal bearing or pawl failure. Ensuring the lockring is torqued to the standard 40Nm specification eliminates this source of clicking.
