Clutch Slave Cylinder Assembly
The primary leak path in the YXZ1000R system is the internal piston seal failing to maintain a seal against the cylinder wall. Thermal degradation of the elastomer leads to fluid bypassing the piston, resulting in external leakage or fluid loss into the bell housing. Replacing the full assembly is required because the cylinder bore often sustains micro-scoring when the seal fails, which would quickly compromise a new 'rebuild-only' seal.
