The internal power and logic board contains the protection circuitry mentioned in the service documentation. When electrolytic capacitors on this board fail due to thermal stress, the board cannot maintain the stable DC voltage required for the wireless RF module to function, leading to a permanent 'Not Connecting' state and a red flashing protection light.

If the power supply remains stable but communication is impossible even at close range, the 2.4GHz RF transceiver module itself has likely suffered a semiconductor failure or antenna trace oxidation, preventing the digital handshake with the soundbar.
