Pilot Water Outlet Nozzle
This nozzle is the terminal point for the cooling system's bypass circuit, designed to provide the operator with a visual 'tell-tale' of pump pressure. Because the orifice is significantly narrower than the main cooling gallies, it is the primary site for salt calcification and particulate blockages (sand/debris). If the fitting has physically snapped or the stream has ceased despite the engine running cool, the nozzle is the statistically most likely component to have failed or become permanently obstructed.
