Internal Cooling Water Pump

The centrifugal pump is responsible for maintaining the head pressure required to move coolant through the narrow cooling jacket of the CO2 glass tube. If the system was operated with a low fluid level, the pump likely ingested air, leading to cavitation and mechanical failure of the impeller or overheating of the motor. Replacing the pump restores the mechanical force necessary to circulate the heat-transfer fluid.

Water Flow Sensor

This component uses a magnetic turbine to send a pulse signal to the mainboard indicating fluid velocity. If the turbine is seized by mineral deposits or debris from a degraded pump, it will trigger a 'Water Flow' error even if the fluid is technically moving. It is the primary feedback mechanism for the laser's thermal safety interlock.

Coolant Level Float Switch

The 'Chiller Low' error is specifically triggered by this magnetic float switch located inside the internal reservoir. If the switch has failed in the 'open' position or is physically stuck due to fluid viscosity issues (improper antifreeze ratio), it will prevent the pump from initializing or continuously report a low-level state.
