Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable

The Xbox Series X requires a consistent 48Gbps bandwidth for 4K/120Hz output; any degradation in the HDMI cable leads to a handshake failure (Black Screen). This cable restores the EDID and HDCP communication between the console and the display, which is the most common physical failure point for video loss.

USB-C Data Cable

Used to perform a hardwired firmware update on the Elite Series 2 controller. As noted in Source 3, firmware mismatches can cause USB handshake desyncs that hang the console's boot process, appearing as a 'Black Screen' until the peripheral is updated or replugged.

Internal Power Supply Unit (PSU)

A failing internal PSU may provide enough 'standby' power to light the console LED but fail to provide the 12V rail required for the APU to output video, resulting in a black screen during the transition from the bootloader to the dashboard.
