Washer Shock Absorber Kit

The WFW5620 relies on four friction dampers to isolate tub movement from the outer cabinet. When the internal grease or friction pads inside these shocks wear out, the tub oscillates freely during the spin cycle, leading to cabinet impact or 'walking.' Replacing all four dampers restores the dampening ratio required to handle heavy, wet loads at high RPM.

Suspension Springs

These springs support the weight of the drum from the top of the frame. If a spring has stretched or the plastic mounting insert has failed, the tub sits at an eccentric angle, causing an immediate unbalance condition that the software cannot always compensate for, resulting in violent vibration.

Shipping Bolt Kit

If the unit is a recent installation or was recently moved, the shipping bolts may not have been removed from the rear panel. These bolts rigidly lock the tub to the frame for transport; if left in, the machine will vibrate violently because the suspension system is completely bypassed.
