Refrigerator Thermistor

The thermistor acts as the temperature sensor for the control board; if its resistance value drifts out of spec, it may signal that the refrigerator is already at the target temperature. This causes the control board to keep the air damper closed and the fan off, despite the actual rising temperature in the fresh food section.
