Drain Pump Motor Assembly

The drain pump relies on a centrifugal impeller to evacuate water. If the motor windings have increased resistance or the impeller has suffered mechanical separation from the shaft, the flow rate drops below the threshold required to empty the tub within the MCU's 8-minute timeout window.

Water Level Pressure Switch

This switch translates the pneumatic pressure from the air dome into an electrical signal. If the internal diaphragm is ruptured or the contacts are fouled, the MCU will continue to receive a 'full' signal even if the water has physically drained, resulting in a false F21 fault.
