Dishwasher Door Gasket

The primary seal between the inner door and the tub frame. Over time, the EPDM rubber compresses or sustains micro-tears from food debris, allowing water to bypass the seal during the high-pressure wash cycle. Replacing the gasket restores the compression seal required for a watertight interface.

Lower Spray Arm Assembly

A common mechanical failure where the plastic heat-welded seam of the spray arm splits. This creates a 'sideways' jet of water that hits the lower door corners directly; since the door is designed for splash resistance rather than submersion-level pressure at the bottom, this split arm causes a steady leak even if the gasket is new.

Lower Door Seal (Wiper)

This seal attaches to the bottom of the door panel and acts as a wiper/baffle. If it becomes deformed, brittle, or detached, it fails to direct water back into the tub, allowing gravity-fed drainage to exit over the front lip of the base pan and onto the floor.
