Drain Pump Motor

The drain pump motor is a dedicated centrifugal pump that evacuations wastewater. It frequently fails due to either mechanical seizure from debris (pattern failure in dishwasher sumps) or an open circuit in the motor windings. If the impeller cannot spin freely or the electromagnetic field fails to energize, the dishwasher will bypass the drain phase and leave standing water.

Drain Hose Check Valve

The check valve is a one-way rubber flapper designed to prevent wastewater from backflowing into the tub.
