9V DC Isolated Power Supply (100mA+)

The Julia V2 requires a regulated 9V DC supply with a minimum current draw of 100mA to maintain the LFO oscillation. If the current is insufficient, the oscillator stalls, which results in a non-functional modulation circuit and a non-blinking Rate LED.

TL074 Quad Operational Amplifier

This integrated circuit is the electromechanical engine of the Low-Frequency Oscillator. A failure in one of the four internal op-amp stages prevents the generation of the triangle/sine wave required to pulse the LED and modulate the BBD clock.

3mm White Light Emitting Diode

The LED itself is a semiconductor prone to failure from over-current or mechanical stress on the leads. If the effect is still audible but the light is absent, the diode's PN-junction has likely opened or a solder joint has fractured on the PCB.
