Replacement LED Backlight Strip Kit

The most frequent cause of 'sound but no picture' in Vizio V-Series models is the failure of one or more LEDs within the backlight array. Modern LED strings are wired in series; if a single LED fails open, the entire array loses power, resulting in a dark screen while the logic board and audio processing remain functional.

Power Supply Board (LED Driver)

The LED driver circuitry is integrated into the main power supply board in this series. If the board fails to step up the voltage required to illuminate the LED strips, the screen will remain black. This is the second most likely cause if the LED strips themselves test positive for continuity.
