LED Backlight Strip Kit
The most frequent failure mode in Vizio LED TVs is the burnout of individual LEDs within the backlight array. Because these LEDs are typically wired in a series circuit, a single diode failure creates an open circuit that shuts down the entire display illumination while leaving the logic and audio circuits operational.

Power Supply Board
The Power Supply Board in this series contains the LED driver/inverter circuitry. If the strips themselves are functional but the driver fails to provide the necessary boost voltage to the LED array, the screen will remain black despite the rest of the TV receiving power.

Main Board
In rare instances, the Main Board may fail to send the 'Backlight On' (BL_ON) signal to the power supply. This prevents the backlight from initializing during the boot sequence even if the power supply and LED strips are physically intact.
