The container base houses an embedded RFID transponder that identifies the container size to the motor base. Internal delamination of this chip, often caused by thermal expansion during high-heat dishwashing cycles, prevents the handshake with the blender's sensors. Replacing the full assembly is the only solution as the chip is hermetically sealed within the plastic molding.

Ascent Series Clear Lid with Self-Detect Interlock

The A3500 requires a secondary magnetic interlock located in the lid to be engaged for container detection. If the lid tabs are worn or the lid is warped, the magnetic sensor will not trigger the 'ready' state, resulting in a 'Not Detected' error. This is a common failure point for users who frequently process hot liquids which can slightly deform the lid's geometry.

Blender Centering Pad

The centering pad acts as a vibration dampener and provides the specific spacing required for the RFID coupling. If the pad is warped, has debris underneath, or is not seated flush, it increases the distance between the container's tag and the base's reader, causing intermittent or total detection failure.
