Spark Re-ignition Module
The spark module contains the timing circuitry and flame-sensing logic. If the internal comparator circuit fails, it cannot process the flame rectification signal, causing the module to remain in an infinite ignition loop regardless of whether a flame is present.

Spark Igniter Electrode
Carbon buildup or food debris on the electrode tip increases electrical resistance, preventing the flame from conducting the rectification signal to ground. Additionally, cracks in the ceramic insulator can cause the spark to jump to the oven chassis prematurely, preventing the module from 'seeing' the flame.

Spark Ignition Switch & Harness
The switch harness sits behind the control knobs and triggers the module. If liquid (from cleaning or boil-overs) enters the switch, it creates a conductive bridge that completes the circuit, causing continuous clicking even if the oven or burners are in the 'off' position.
