SmartShunt Power Cable with Fuse

This cable provides the essential DC potential to the shunt's internal logic board and Bluetooth radio. A failed inline fuse or a fracture in the wire prevents the microprocessor from initializing, resulting in a total absence of Bluetooth advertising packets. Replacing the cable restores the power rail necessary for BLE transmission.

VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle

When the SmartShunt is installed in a high-attenuation environment like a steel enclosure or engine compartment, the internal antenna cannot penetrate the metallic barrier. This dongle plugs into the VE.Direct port and allows the radio to be mounted externally. It bypasses internal signal interference caused by the surrounding metallic mass.

If the Bluetooth functionality was intentionally or accidentally disabled in the VictronConnect settings, the device becomes invisible to all wireless scans. This hardwired interface allows a physical connection to a PC or laptop to access the firmware settings. It is the only mechanical method to re-enable the radio broadcast once software-disabled.
