2065R Metal Gear Sub-Micro Servo
The factory-standard 2065 servo uses plastic gears that frequently shear when attempting to actuate the locking fork under drivetrain load. When the gears strip, the servo loses the ability to pull or release the T-lock cable, leaving the differential 'stuck' in its last position. The 2065R provides the necessary torque and material hardness to overcome the resistance of the internal locking sleeve.

T-Lock Differential Cable
The differential relies on a Bowden cable system where an internal wire slides within a housing. If the housing is kinked or if contaminants enter the axle side of the cable, the resulting friction prevents the internal return spring from sliding the locking fork back to the open position, effectively sticking the differential in the locked state regardless of servo movement.
