The ESC manages brushless motor commutation through high-frequency switching of internal MOSFETs; a persistent blinking LED indicates the unit has entered a fail-safe state due to a breakdown in the voltage-sensing circuit or a logic error in the microcontroller. This often occurs when thermal expansion fatigues internal solder joints or when the voltage divider circuit fails to correctly interpret battery input. Because the internal circuitry is encapsulated in waterproof potting compound, the entire module must be replaced to restore functionality.
