RTD Temperature Sensor Probe
The RTD sensor is the primary feedback mechanism for the D2 controller. In this model, these sensors are prone to resistance drift, causing the controller to receive a higher voltage signal than the actual firepot temperature warrants. This results in the system reducing the fuel-to-air ratio prematurely, preventing the grill from achieving or maintaining the user's set temperature.
