D2 Hot Rod Igniter Kit
The hot rod is the resistive heating element responsible for pyrolytic ignition of the wood pellets in the firepot. When the element fails due to thermal cycling or structural fatigue, it cannot reach the required temperature to initiate combustion. This causes the controller to trigger a Low Error Reading (LEr) because the RTD sensor detects no thermal energy gain despite the system being in 'Start' mode.
