CSL DD Improved Shaft Clamp (Double Bolt)
The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) single-bolt clamp often fails to provide sufficient axial retention force during high-torque transitions. This allows the modular steering shaft to physically migrate away from the internal connector, resulting in a momentary loss of data signal. A double-bolt or two-piece clamp ensures uniform circumferential pressure, locking the shaft into the internal port permanently.

Fanatec QR2 Base-Side (Type-C) Upgrade Kit
The newer QR2 standard replaces the problematic friction-fit shaft design with a more robust mechanical interface. This kit replaces the entire connection assembly, eliminating the pin-vibration and shaft-slippage issues inherent in the first-generation CSL DD design. It effectively solves the disconnect issue by fundamentally changing how the wheel data is transmitted through the shaft.

Replacement Internal USB-C Shaft Connector
If the shaft has migrated multiple times while under power, the internal USB-C style male/female junction can suffer from electrical arcing or physical pin deformation. Replacing the internal coupling restores the integrity of the data handshake. This is required if a new clamp alone does not resolve the connectivity dropouts.
