Internal LVDS/Flex Ribbon Cable Set

Oxidation or slight displacement of the flex cables connecting the T-Con board to the panel drivers frequently causes line artifacts. Reseating or replacing these cables ensures clean signal transmission and often eliminates vertical or horizontal lines caused by poor data continuity. This is the primary mechanical fix before considering more expensive board or panel replacements.

T-Con (Timing Controller) Board

The T-Con board processes the video signal for the LCD panel; a failure in its logic circuits or timing chips results in consistent line patterns or screen flickering. Replacing this specific board resolves issues where the panel itself is healthy but receiving corrupted image data. It is a discrete, sellable component distinct from the main logic board.

LCD Panel Assembly

If lines persist after cable and T-Con replacement, the failure is likely a 'gate driver' failure or a cracked COF (Chip on Film) internal to the screen. In this scenario, the LCD panel itself is the root cause. This is typically not cost-effective to repair outside of warranty.
