T-CON (Timing Controller) Board

The T-CON board is responsible for generating the timing signals for the LCD panel. When it fails or overheats, it produces systematic vertical or horizontal lines across the display. This part is the most granular electrical component that can be replaced to resolve signal-based line issues.

High-Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable

Before internal repair, a faulty or unshielded HDMI cable can cause digital artifacts or flickering lines known as 'sparkles' or 'tearing'. Replacing the cable rules out signal interference from external devices like cable boxes or gaming consoles.

Internal LVDS Ribbon Cable Set

These ribbons connect the Main Board to the T-CON board. Oxidation on the pins or a loose connection due to thermal expansion can cause data loss, resulting in vertical lines. Reseating or replacing these cables is a common low-cost fix if the T-CON itself is functional.
