Tension Controller Assembly
The tension knob's internal plastic keyway or D-interface has likely suffered mechanical deformation or 'rounding' due to rotational stress exceeding the material's yield strength. This results in a loss of friction-fit coupling with the metal adjustment spindle, causing the knob to spin without translating motion to the tension cable.
