Oil Pick-Up Hose
This rubber line utilizes a grommet-style flange to create a seal against the oil tank wall. Over time, the rubber loses its elasticity or reacts with the bar oil, causing the seal to fail at the tank's exit point, which leads to significant leaks from the bottom of the saw during storage.

Oil Pump Connector Elbow
This plastic fitting connects the oil tank to the pump assembly. If the internal O-ring fails or the plastic housing of the connector develops hairline fractures due to heat cycling, oil will bypass the delivery channel and leak into the sprocket and clutch area.

Oil Tank Vent (Check Valve)
The vent is designed to allow air into the tank as oil is consumed while preventing oil from escaping. If the internal diaphragm or ball-check becomes stuck or contaminated with sawdust, pressure buildup from thermal expansion will force oil out through the pump mechanism and bar mounting surface.
