Valve Cover Gasket

The BR 800's 4-MIX engine requires precise valve lash to engage the mechanical decompression system during the pull-start phase. A hardened or leaking gasket must be replaced whenever the valve cover is removed to recalibrate the rocker arm clearance. Restoring the correct gap allows the camshaft decompression pin to slightly lift the valve, reducing pull resistance.

Valve Adjustment Service Kit

This kit includes the specific 0.10mm feeler gauge and necessary seals required to reset the intake and exhaust valve clearances. Correcting the lash is the only way to restore the electromechanical timing and decompression physics required for low-effort starting.

Spark Plug

Improper valve clearance often leads to incomplete combustion and 'wet fouling' of the spark plug. While the physical resistance is caused by the valve train, the failure to ignite after the pull is often due to carbon bridging or fuel saturation on the electrode resulting from poor volumetric efficiency.
