SRAM Front Derailleur Support Wedge Kit
The SRAM AXS FD uses a high-torque motor to move the chain across a 'Yaw' path without an electronic trim function. Without the correct support wedge installed between the derailleur and the frame, the lateral forces during an upshift cause the derailleur body to flex or rotate slightly on its mount. This deflection alters the cage angle at the limit of its travel, leading to the chain being ejected over the large chainring or falling between the rings.
