T-CON Board

The T-CON board translates the Main Board's video signal for the OLED panel. A failure here results in a '5-blink' error code and a black screen while the audio processor on the main board continues to function. This is the most common replaceable electronic component for this specific failure mode.

Main Board (A-Board)

The Main Board houses the XR Cognitive Processor; if the video processing sub-block fails while the audio-out path remains intact, the screen will remain black. This part is responsible for sending the startup handshake to the T-CON; without it, the panel will never initialize.

LVDS/V-by-One Ribbon Cables

Physical connection failure between the Main Board and T-CON can cause signal dropouts. Oxidation on the pins or thermal expansion/contraction of the flex cables can result in a 'Black Screen, Sound OK' state due to a lost data handshake during the power-on sequence.
