Main PCB Zener Diode (ZD001)

This Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode acts as a gatekeeper for the logic board. Forensic analysis shows this component frequently fails in a short-circuit state due to voltage spikes or incorrect power adapters. When shorted, it shunts all current to ground, preventing the motor driver circuit from receiving the necessary DC voltage to initiate platter rotation.

Turntable Drive Belt

As a belt-driven system, the mechanical coupling between the motor spindle and the platter relies on the elasticity and friction of a rubber belt. Over time, the elastomer undergoes stress relaxation and oxidation, leading to a loss of tension or snapping. Without this physical link, the motor's kinetic energy cannot be transferred to the platter assembly.
