OLED Panel Assembly
Permanent burn-in is a physical degradation of the organic emissive layer at the sub-pixel level. Because the light source and the pixel are the same component in OLED technology, there is no separate backlight or filter to replace; the entire cell must be swapped. This part is the only resolution when internal pixel-refresh software can no longer calibrate the luminance uniformity across the display.
